Introducing the Marea Collection - an exploration of organic forms inspired by marine life and underwater seascapes. Marea translates to ‘the sea’ in Romanian and the collection is informed by designer Andreea Avram Rusu’s childhood summers on the Black Sea and her love of scuba diving. The collections is defined by its unique, organic handblown forms. These flowing, freehand shapes are more complex than they appear, requiring deft glasswork that incorporates color layering with individual shaping.
